Who we are!

The Web foundation (Fundacion Web) is a non-profit-organization aiming at capacitating and supporting micro businesses and small entrepreneurs of Chile to get to know and to use the internet as a medium of communication and a way of distribution of their products, services and ideas.

Our services:

Fundacion Web is taking care of design and development of web sites and e-mail addresses as well as of user’s capacitation to make use of the internet and of useful online tools. We offer orientation, guidance, hosting of web sites, registration and administration of domains. These services are fully free of charge for the first year. From the second year onwards we offer clients a system of subsidies.

In order to make use of our services, please apply between June 30th and July 07th and between October 27th and November 07th of 2008.

The foundation has negotiated an agreement with the center of micro businesses of the community of Recoleta and with the Casa de la Familia de Lo Bernachea. Should you live in one of these two communities, please apply directly to these institutions.

Internships:

Fundacion Web does not only concern itself about the benefits of micro businesses, but also opens its doors for those students of journalism, design and informatics who are interested in specializing in the area of the internet, offering them a possibility to conduct a professional internship in our offices, which can in certain be financed.
